AMBER CROSS

Years Coaching: 25 years

Accreditation Level: Advanced

Current Coaching Roles: Central Coast Heart Head Coach, Netball NSW Sporting Schools Coach, WDNA 14yr Rep Coach, Central Coast Grammar School Mentor Coach, Narara Valley High School Targeted Sports Netball Coach, Bateau Bay Dolphins Division 1 Coach.

Coaching/Playing Highlights: Runners Up NSW 17/U State Team 2014/2015 and Runners Up NSW State Championships 15yr Division 2013.

Reason for Coaching: I enjoy helping young netballers reach their sporting potential and also helping them become the best person they can be! I also love the relationships and friendships that develop from being involved in a team sport.

Coaching/Playing Highlights: U17s Minor Division State Champs (a long time ago!). Seeing kids have that moment, when after much practice and heartache, they are able to now do a drill, or achieve something they've been working really hard on. Kids telling me that they used a move or play that we have been working on at training in a game on the weekend and saying "it worked".

Reason for Coaching: I have a huge passion for all sports. Growing up playing netball were some of the best times, making friends, keeping fit and learning. Coaching allows me to share my passion and experience, keeps me actively involved and the benefits of playing a team sport go beyond keeping physically fit.
